Plot[]
The crew of the USS Enterprise must battle both Romulan and Klingon forces to discover the secrets of an ancient alien artifact.

EXT-ROMULAN SPACE
A Klingon D7-class battle ship is next to a Romulan T'Varo-class warship.
INT-IRW KERCHAN MAIN BRIDGE
Sub Commander S'Lok enters with Commander K'Mock.
K'MOCK: The Enterprise was able to escape my trap in the asteroid belt but they won't escape it this time my spies in the High Council has informed me that they're continuing their investigation as to how I knew they would have the artifact with them, their course will take them to the Gamma Hydra star system they had a former colony there in 2267 that were all killed due to a aging virus but their course will take them here to Gamma Hydra V.
SUB-CMDR. S'LOK: I should inform Admiral Charavanek.
CMDR. K'MOCK: No this is should be for us and us alone we'll bring about the restoration of the Klingon and Romulan Empires.
S'Lok smirks as he and K'Mock continue their conversation in private.

Act One[]
Fade In
EXT-SPACE
The Enterprise is at impulse speed.
INT-USS ENTERPRISE SCIENCE LAB
The doors opened as Commander T'Lar is at one of the stations.
CAPT. BRANSON: You've got something?
LTCMDR. T'LAR: The device has shown us the place where the device came from.
She inputs commands into the console and the screen shows the planet.
CAPT. BRANSON: Gamma Hydra IV?
CMDR. IVANOVA: This was the sector where Captain Lance Ramirez and the crew of the USS Excalibur encountered an Iconian outpost but had to keep it a secret to protect the Federation.
Captain Branson turns to his senior staff.
CAPT. BRANSON (sighs): Well we're heading into the unknown.
LT. SMITH: What about Command?
CAPT. BRANSON: I've informed Vice Admiral Kirk of our detour so we're good till someone besides Picard knows we're missing from our patrol route along the Romulan border, now I want daily tactical updates when we arrive cause I know that if K'Mock is here so will be some Romulan back up dismissed.
The senior staff leaves the briefing room.
EXT-GAMMA HYDRA SECTOR
The Enterprise emerges from warp and approaches Gamma Hydra V.
INT-USS ENTERPRISE MAIN BRIDGE (RED ALERT)
Lieutenant Carlson reports.
LT. CARLSON: We're approaching Gamma Hydra V now sir.
Captain Branson gets up from the Captain's chair.
CAPT. BRANSON: Establish standard orbit Kara.
LT. CARLSON: Aye, sir.
EXT-GAMMA HYDRA V ORBIT
The Enterprise enters orbit.
INT-USS ENTERPRISE MAIN BRIDGE (RED ALERT)
Commander T'Lar reports.
LTCMDR. T'LAR: Nothing on the surface but that does not mean that we have to face a Romulan force.
CAPT. BRANSON: True Z assemble your Away Team.
CMDR. IVANOVA: Aye, sir Jack, T'Lar you're with me have Doctor Carlson meet us in transporter room III.
The trio heads to the lift as Ensign Sheridan and Ensign Holiday take the Science and tactical stations.
EXT-GAMMA HYDRA V SURFACE
The Away Team materialize on the surface.
LTCMDR. T'LAR: Tricorder range has been limited to 200 kilometers Commander.
CMDR. IVANOVA: So we don't know if a Klingon or Romulan force will ambush us then let's keep on our toes come on.
They move out searching for what the artifact is showing them.
EXT-GAMMA HYDRA V ORBIT
The Enterprise is above the planet.
INT-USS ENTERPRISE MAIN BRIDGE (RED ALERT)
Captain Branson is pacing about.
LT. CARLSON: Sir you're going to wear out the deck plating.
CAPT. BRANSON: Sorry just worried about the Away Team.
Then Kara reports.
LT. CARLSON: Sir sensors just picked up a trio of warp clusters it appears to be a squadron of Romulan and Klingon vessels.
Captain Branson tenses up.
CAPT. BRANSON: How long till they get here?
LT. CARLSON: At present speed half an hour.
Captain Branson goes to the Captain's chair.
CAPT. BRANSON: Kara put us on the otherside of the planet make it look like we're fleeing but keep us in communications range with the Away Team.
LT. CARLSON: Aye, sir.
Lieutenant Carlson inputs commands into the helm station.
EXT-WARP TUNNEL
A Romulan/Klingon squadron is heading towards Gamma Hydra.
INT-IRW T'VARO MAIN BRIDGE
TACTICAL OFFICER: Commander sensors are detecting a Federation vessel in the area.
SUB-CMDR. S'LOK: Is it the Enterprise?
He checks his console read out smirks and nods.
SUB-CMDR. S'LOK (smirks): Perfect now its time to show Captain Branson that we mean business.
(END OF ACT ONE, FADE OUT)
Act Two[]
FADE IN
EXT-GAMMA HYDRA V SURFACE
The Away Team is searching for where the artifact is showing them.
CMDR. IVANOVA: How far are we from where we need to go?
LTCMDR. T'LAR: Not much further Commander.
LT. MASON: Commander tricorder readings are picking up transporting signals it appears to be Klingon and Romulan.
CMDR. IVANOVA: That's not good we need to get a moving on.
They continue on their way.
EXT-GAMMA HYDRA V ORBIT
The Romulan/Klingon taskforce approaches the system unknown to them the Enterprise hiding.
INT-USS ENTERPRISE MAIN BRIDGE (RED ALERT)
CMDR. IVANOVA (com voice): So far we're maintaining our distance from them but their searching for the same thing we are looking for
Captain Branson sits in the Captain's chair.
CAPT. BRANSON: We're moving back into orbit we'll be in transporter range soon.
CMDR. IVANOVA (com voice): Acknowledged sir Ivanova out
EXT-GAMMA HYDRA V SURFACE
The Away Team is staying one step ahead of the Romulan/Klingon soldiers.
LT. MASON: They're searching for away to get into the area.
CMDR. IVANOVA: Come on let's move.
They move out.
EXT-GAMMA HYDRA V ORBIT
The Enterprise heads back to the planet as two Romulan T'Less-class warships approach from aft as one of them fires hitting the aft deflectors.
INT-USS ENTERPRISE MAIN BRIDGE (RED ALERT)
WHUMPH!
CAPT. BRANSON: Evasive maneuver return fire.
LT. CARLSON: Aye, sir going to maneuver gamma sequence.
WHUMPH!
EXT-GAMMA HYDRA V ORBIT
The Enterprise fires photon torpedoes as energy blots struck one of the D7-class vessels as they broke off their assault, and the Stormbird-class vessel fires its disruptor beam at the Enterprise.
INT-USS ENTERPRISE MAIN BRIDGE (RED ALERT)
WHUMPH!
CAPT. BRANSON: Break off our attack.
LT. CARLSON: Aye, sir.
Lieutenant Carlson inputs commands into the helm console.
EXT-GAMMA HYDRA V ORBIT
The Enterprise moves to port as she fires her phaser beams hitting the ventral deflectors as she peels off from the attack.
INT-KERCHAN MAIN BRIDGE (RED ALERT)
TACTICAL OFFICER: Deflectors are down to ninety-one percent.
SUB-CMDR. S'LOK: Bring us about pilot and target the Enterprise.
Both officers comply as S'Lok smirks.

Act Three[]
FADE IN
EXT-GAMMA HYDRA SURFACE
The Away Team moves and takes cover as they're having a fire fight with the Romulan/Klingon landing party as well.
LTCMDR. T'LAR: The tricorder range is still limited Commander.
CMDR. IVANOVA: Thank you T'Lar I got that.
She fires back and takes an officer down.
LT. MASON: Nice shot Commander.
CMDR. IVANOVA: Thanks Jack.
They continue their fire fight.
DR. CARLSON: I guess we're at the area we need to be.
CMDR. IVANOVA: Yeah.
Jack fires his compression rifle.
CMDR. IVANOVA (to com): Ivanova to Enterprise John we're a bit pinned down here right now.
INT-USS ENTERPRISE MAIN BRIDGE (RED ALERT)
Captain Branson walks around the bridge to the Captain's chair.
CAPT. BRANSON (to com): We've given the Romulan vessels the slip and we should be back in orbit really soon what's your status?
CUT TO:
EXT-GAMMA HYDRA V SURFACE
CMDR. IVANOVA (to com): We've got a Romulan/Klingon squad firing at us but we're so far holding our own.
INT-USS ENTERPRISE MAIN BRIDGE (RED ALERT)
CAPT. BRANSON (to com): We'll be there soon just hang in there.
CMDR. IVANOVA (com voice): We'll do what we can Ivanova out
Commander Clarkson comes up with an idea.
LTCMDR. CLARKSON: John I've got an idea.
CAPT. BRANSON: Let's hear it.
LTCMDR. CLARKSON: What about an in system warp jump we could warp to the planet and beam the Away Team up and then warp out of here without them even getting a weapons lock on us.
CAPT. BRANSON: Can it be done?
LTCMDR. WILLIAMS: It should be doable but we'll have to make the calculations to do it before we can be sure.
CAPT. BRANSON: You've got a few minutes before we approach the planet or before our friends decide to start shooting at us.
They get to work.
EXT-GAMMA HYDRA SURFACE
The Away Team is continuing their fire fight as well as falling back.
CMDR. IVANOVA: Jack what do you think we can do?
LT. MASON: Well we can either return to the ship or we can find out why this artifact led us here to this planet for the second time in a row this is Starfleet's personal record.
CUT TO:
EXT-WARP TUNNEL
The Agamemnon, Yorktown, and Dominion are at warp to support the Enterprise.
INT-USS AGAMEMNON MAIN BRIDGE
VICE ADM. KIRK: How long till we reach the Gamma Hydra system?
ENS. PETERSON: One hour and thirty minutes Admiral.
CMDR. SULU: We'll get there sir.
VICE ADM. KIRK (sighs): I hope we can.
Kirk tenses up.

Act Four[]
FADE IN
EXT-GAMMA HYDRA ORBIT
The Enterprise approaches the planet as two Klingon D7-class battle cruisers harass the Enterprise.
INT-USS ENTERPRISE MAIN BRIDGE (RED ALERT)
WHUMPH!
CAPT. BRANSON: Damn it not again.
LT. CARLSON: Already on it sir.
WHUMPH! Sparks erupt from the engineering console.
LTCMDR. CLARKSON: Transporters are off-line!
CAPT. BRANSON: Evasive maneuver delta get us out of their weapons range.
LT. CARLSON: Aye, sir.
EXT-GAMMA HYDRA V ORBIT
The IRW T'Varo decloaks and fires her disruptor beam at the Enterprise scoring a direct hit to her port nacelle causing it to vent drive plasma.
INT-USS ENTERPRISE MAIN BRIDGE (RED ALERT)
WHUMPH! Huge shower of sparks erupt from the ceiling and MSD as coolant vents from the ceiling.
LT. CARLSON: Direct hit to the port nacelle we're venting drive plasma!
CAPT. BRANSON: Target that Romulan vessel torpedoes full spread.
EXT-GAMMA HYDRA V ORBIT
The Enterprise unleashes a spread of photons but the energy blots hit the forward shields as the T'Varo continues firing at the Enterprise, but then phaser's hit the port side of the T'Varo-Class vessel hitting the port side of the Romulan vessel.
INT-USS ENTERPRISE MAIN BRIDGE (RED ALERT)
Smoke is around the bridge as console screens are fizzing in and out or burnt out.
CAPT. BRANSON: Where did those quantum's came from?
LT. CARLSON: It came from the USS Agamemnon!
Captain Branson smiles.
EXT-GAMMA HYDRA V ORBIT
The Agamemnon, Yorktown, Hercules, and Ares arrive firing their weapons destroying a T'Varo-class vessel and a bird of prey.
INT-USS ENTERPRISE MAIN BRIDGE (RED ALERT)
LT. SMITH: We're being hailed its Admiral Kirk.
CAPT. BRANSON: On screen.
Transparent viewer shows the bridge of the Agamemnon.
VICE ADM. KIRK (viewer): I just had that vessel fixed John.
CAPT. BRANSON: The Romulans wrecked her sir how did you know where we were?
VICE ADM. KIRK (viewer): Well I had a feeling that your little detour was here so I had both Captains Smith, Nelson, and Spock follow me from Starbase Six and we came here to provide assistance.
CAPT. BRANSON: Well we took heavy damage to our port nacelle.
VICE ADM. KIRK (viewer): We see it but we're here so let's do this.
Transmission ends.
CAPT. BRANSON: You heard the Admiral let's get to work.
EXT-GAMMA HYDRA V ORBIT
The Federation taskforce does battle with the Klingon/Romulan vessels
INT-USS YORKTOWN MAIN BRIDGE (RED ALERT)
CAPT. SMITH: Helm attack pattern Alpha one and fire photon torpedoes disperal pattern: Sierra and fire!
EXT-GAMMA HYDRA V ORBIT
The two torpedo launchers unleash a volley of quantum torpedoes as they strike a T'Varo-class on its port wing causing an explosion and then two score a deadly blow, as a D7-class cruiser fires its main weapon at the Yorktown causing a bad blow to the port saucer section.
INT-USS YORKTOWN MAIN BRIDGE (RED ALERT)
WHUMPH! Sparks erupt from the ceiling.
LT. JONES: Deflectors are down to forty-one percent that weapon is powerful.
CAPT. SMITH: Helm get us out of its weapons range.
ENS. PETERSON: Aye, Captain.
EXT-GAMMA HYDRA V ORBIT
The Enterprise provides cover as she fires her phasers hitting the port wing of the Negh'var-class cruiser hitting its deflectors as the Enterprise flies over it.
INT-USS ENTERPRISE MAIN BRIDGE (RED ALERT)
CAPT. BRANSON: Keep our bow to the T'Varo and D7-class vessels re-route power to forward deflectors.
LTCMDR. WILLIAMS: Aye, sir.
LT. CARLSON: Captain I'm picking up something coming our way.
Captain Branson tenses up.
CUT TO:
EXT-SPACE
A Federation Allied battlegroup emerges from warp one at a time.
INT-USS VENTURE MAIN BRIDGE (RED ALERT)
ADM. BRANSON (to com): This is Admiral James Branson of the USS Venture sorry we're late John.
INT-USS ENTERPRISE MAIN BRIDGE (RED ALERT)
CAPT. BRANSON: Just glad you're here as well Admiral.
INT-USS VENTURE MAIN BRIDGE (RED ALERT)
ADM. BRANSON: Come to course 2-3-4 mark 23 have all ships engage the enemy.
LT. RAND: Aye, sir.
EXT-GAMMA HYDRA V ORBIT
The Federation taskforce gets back into the fight taking out the support vessels as the D7-class leaps into warp but the T'Varo cloaks.
INT-USS ENTERPRISE MAIN BRIDGE (RED ALERT)
LT. CARLSON: K'Mock's vessel has gone to warp and the Kerchan has cloaked.
CAPT. BRANSON: That doesn't mean they're not out there still I'm taking a strike team down Kyle you've got the bridge.
LTCMDR. CLARKSON: Aye, sir.
EXT-GAMMA HYDRA V SURFACE
The Away Team scares off the strike team as Captain Branson and a team of Marines beam down.
CAPT. BRANSON: Sorry we're late we had to deal with our old friend S'Lok and his new buddy K'Mock what's the situation down here?
CMDR. IVANOVA: We fended off a Romulan/Klingon soldier but they're not going to give up.
CAPT. BRANSON: Alright let's see what this artifact wants us to see.
Commander T'Lar activates it and it makes a doorway and they enter it.
INT-ICONIAN OUTPOST ROOM
Captain Branson and Commander T'Lar are in a room.
CAPT. BRANSON: Where are we?
LTCMDR. T'LAR: It matches the same chamber that Captain Ramirez encountered in 2365.
CAPT. BRANSON: Impressive.
The Gateway door opens.
CAPT. BRANSON: Interesting.
LTCMDR. T'LAR: Same thing that he encountered.
CAPT. BRANSON: So how do we keep this from the Romulans or K'Mock?
SUB-CMDR. S'LOK: You don't.
They turn and see Sub Commander S'Lok with a Romulan disruptor aimed at them.
(END OF ACT FOUR, FADE OUT)
Act Five[]
FADE IN
INT-ICONIAN OUTPOST ROOM
Sub Commander S'Lok has both Captain Branson and Commander T'Lar at disruptor point.
CAPT. BRANSON: How did you get in here?
SUB-CMDR. S'LOK: We had the technology from the outpost you encountered in the asteroid field it wasn't hard to install it into our systems.
He walks over to the console and T'Lar backs up and joins Captain Branson.
LTCMDR. T'LAR: Logic dictates that you plan on using it for some plot against the Federation.
SUB-CMDR. S'LOK (smirks): You're right about that Commander you see I agree with everything that the current Praetor says we should remain enemies of the Federation, we shouldn't have to conform to your ideals or your notion of peaceful cooperation or anything of the sort we're Romulans and we have to conqueror our foes not make peace with them or anything of the sort!
CAPT. BRANSON: So you are what just going to kill us and take the technology?
SUB-CMDR. S'LOK: Oh no my dear Captain I'm going to take you and the Commander prisoner and then take you back to Romulus and then interrogate and extract information from you regarding Federation defenses and then you will be executed in front of every Romulan and subject to see so it will inspire many of our soldiers for generations to come.
John kicks the disruptor out of his hand and they start fighting and start fighting over the weapon and then John pushes him back and then John is in front of the gateway as he waits for something.
SUB-CMDR. S'LOK: I'LL KILL YOU!!!!!
He rushes John but John tosses him to Cardassia as T'Lar closes the doorway.
EXT-CARDASSIA SURFACE
S'Lok sees where he's at and he screams.
INT-ICONIAN OUTPOST ROOM
Captain Branson leans on the wall.
CAPT. BRANSON: We can't allow this tech to be around.
They both look at each other.
EXT-FEDERATION SPACE
The Agamemnon is towing the Enterprise back to Starbase Six.
INT-USS AGAMEMNON ADMIRAL KIRK'S READY ROOM
Captain Branson is standing in front of his desk.
VICE ADM. KIRK: I've got your report and I agree that we can't leave that tech standing.
CAPT. BRANSON: I understand sir.
Jim walks over to John.
JIM: John I know you want to take this responsibility but you almost got killed so next time I want you to also inform Starfleet Command of your findings not just me is that clear.
JOHN (nods): Perfectly.
JIM: Dismissed.
John leaves his office as Jim folds his arms.
INT-USS ENTERPRISE CAPTAIN BRANSON'S QUARTERS
John is looking at some damage and causality reports as Jessica who beamed over to the Enterprise walks over to him.
JESSICA: Hey.
John turns to her.
JOHN (smiles): Hey sorry I wasn't at the transporter room to greet you Admiral Kirk wanted to talk to me.
Jessica rubs the back of his head and they kiss.
JESSICA: Come to bed.
She takes him to the bedroom and the doors closed.
EXT-FEDERATION/KLINGON BORDER
The Agamemnon is towing Enterprise towards Starbase Six a Frontier-Class Starbase.
