Born on the 16th of February 2380 on Starbase 304, Volichenko followed his parents footsteps and joined Starfleet and is currently holding the rank of Captain and currently commanding the USS Pioneer (NCC-97943) having previously commanded the USS Endurance (NCC-7701)

Early Life[]
Volichenko was born on Starbase 304 and raised on Meric V, His parents were both Starfleet officer who served in theDominion War, during his early life Volichenko took interest in the sciences,federation history. eventually setting his sights on joining starfleet. Throughout his teen years he also took interest in tactical strategy.
Starfleet Academy[]
Volichenko joined Starfleet in 2396 and attended the academy for 4 years and completed courses in Advanced Tactical & Command training and astrophysics, graduating top of his class in tactical & command training and receiving a masters degree in astrophysics . Volichenko graduated the academy in 2400.
During his 2nd year at the academy, Volichenko completed his field study assignment aboard the Akira-Class USS Trafalgar (NCC-51624), under the command of Captain Isaac Phillips.
Starfleet Career[]
USS Armstrong (NCC-16769)[]
In 2400, Volichenko was assigned to the Luna-Class USS Armstrong, this was his first official posting as a Starfleet officer, he served as junior tactical officer, reaching the rank of Lieutenant Junior grade
USS Neptune (NCC-86512)[]
In 2402, Volichenko transferred to the Nebula-Class, during in this time he was reached the rank of full Lieutenant, he served onboard until he was forced to abandon ship with the rest of crew when the ship was destroyed on the edge of federation space in January 2403, he served as the relief tactical officer.
USS Archer (NCC-44278-A)[]
In 2403,Volichenko took a posting aboard the Galaxy-Class USS Archer-A as the senior tactical officer until he was promoted to Lieutenant Commander in 2405.
USS Edison (NCC-1683-C)[]
In 2405 after being promoted to lieutenant commander Volichenko transferred to the Intrepid-Class USS Edison-C as the new executive officer, he was promoted to commander in 2407. Volichenko severed onboard for 3 years,in 2408 he was promoted to captain and took command of the USS Endurance, During his time as XO, he lived through 5 major engagements, Including the famed Battle of Idek V.
First Command- USS Endurance (NCC-7701)[]
In 2408, Volichenko received promotion to the rank of captain and was given command of the Excelsior-Class USS Endurance NCC-7701. After taking command of the Endurance, Volichenko and his crew played a vital role in multiple offensives during the war.
During his tenure as the Endurance's C.O . he fought in 17 major engagements ,during Federation-Klingon conflict,all of which were successful.
The ship was destroyed by a warp core breach in February 2411 following an attack by the Romulan Star Empire.
USS Pioneer (NCC-97934)[]
In March 2411, at the request of Vice Admiral Eric O'Madden, Volichenko accepted command of the Pathfinder-Class USS Pioneer, with the mission of locating the then missing protoype USS Cerberus. Following a sucessful recovery of Cerberus and her crew, Volichenko and Pioneer were assinged to the 307th Survey Squadron.
