Anatassia Folonova is a female Human and Starfleet flag officer of the 24th century.
Early life[]
Folonova was born in 2319 on Earth to parents who were career Starfleet officers.
Starfleet Academy[]
Folonova joined Starfleet Academy in 2337 and graduated in 2341 with honors.
Starfleet career[]
In the same year, she was deployed to the USS Victorious commanded by then Captain Maximus Hunter.
It was also onboard this ship that Folonova met and became fast friends with then Lieutenant John Blackbull.
By 2351, Folonova had reached the rank of Commander and had been designated as First officer of the Excelsior-class starship USS Redoubtable.
It was onboard this ship that Folonova met and became fast friends with then Lieutenant commander Razal Gibran who was her Second officer.
Folonova was promoted to the rank of Captain on 2353 and was given command of the USS Redoubtable. She subsequently made Gibran her First officer.
Folonova left the USS Redoubtable in 2365 and was given command of the Galaxy-class starship USS Republic. She commanded this ship until 2370.
Folonova accepted a promotion to the rank of Commodore in 2371 and an assignment to Starbase 12. She was subsequently promoted to the rank of Rear Admiral in 2380.
Vanguard Command[]
In 2385, Folonova was promoted to the rank of Vice Admiral and was assigned to Vanguard Command as its Deputy Flag Officer-in-Command, under the flag command of her former CO, Fleet Admiral Maximus Hunter.
Her new assignment carried the following concurrent designations:
- Base Commander of Station Frontier.
- Sector Commander of the dozens of star systems surrounding the Coronalis System
As Deputy Flag Officer-in-Command of Vanguard Command, all non-fleet operations and administrative matters would course through Folonova. Meanwhile, all fleet operations and missions would course through her counterpart Vice Admiral John Blackbull, the Deputy Flag Officer-in-Command of the Vanguard Fleet.
