- One of the first intelligent races thought to exist, known as the Guardians built a peaceful star empire during this era, as well as constructing the Guardian of Forever and gaining expert knowledge of time & space.
- A young Q is disciplined by the Q Continuum for tampering with the properties of antimatter, and possibly creating antimatter universes. He is put in isolation detention for ten million years. During the Q crisis of 2374, Q takes Jean-Luc Picard back in time to witness this event. Picard also witnesses the mischievous younger Q idly creating, and flinging into space, an energy ribbon which he believes resembles the Nexus.
- The 40 Eridani trinary star forms, the system attracting the matter that will evolve into the planets Vulcan and T'Khut.

- Life on Earth begins in the area eventually known as Western Europe.

- The evolution of single-celled life occurs on Earth.
- Tagus III sees civilization swell.

- According to the Muuly-Barsh projection, Rigel III and Rigel IV first become inhabited by the Shour.
