The Centurian Science Directorate (or CSD or Jutional Coipal Wertioxan) was the nerve center for all scientific experimentation, theorizing, hypothesizing, knowledge, administration, etc. on Centuria. It was formed in 1862 and has made many global accomplishments.
In 1892 the Directorate made it's first major achievement and created the first working theory on the existence of Extraterrestrial life. That the universes spaciousness is a major fact in the obviousness of other life.
In 1934 the first working orbital telescope was created, it was able to see 25,200,000,000 miles (40,555,468,800,000 km) away.
In 1954, the hypothetical existence of black holes and wormholes was excepted.
In 2074, the overall most generally excepted largest achievement was made by the Directorate. The "prehistoric" warp drive theory for Centuria was fabricated. Although it would take 68 more years for the first warp test to be initiated.
The Directorate was centralized in the Directorate Tower in Kenpolur. It encompassed 11 decks.
