Early Life[]
in 2233, Eric Tyson was born on Mars colony to an Ambassador and a Starfleet Commodore he had a very wonderful childhood spending time with his mother and father when they weren't busy.
Ever since he was young he always wanted to be a Starfleet officer his family were a bit worried about him joining Starfleet, but after having a talk with Eric's mother his father allowed him to apply for Starfleet.
Starfleet service career[]
Starfleet Academy[]
Eric joined Starfleet in 2250 and he got off to a good start and made some good friends along the way, passed all of his classes with flying colors and met his future ship mate onboard the Enterprise Brianna Martin who was a fourth year academy student. In 2254, Eric was promoted to fighter pilot and less than a year later, was promoted to squadron leader; due to his rapid rise through the ranks it was rumored that Tyson was on the fast track to making Admiral. In 2254 Tyson was serving as a flight instructor at the Academy when he met cadet Catherine Sakai while she was in her second year. During her first instruction flight with Tyson, he almost made her black out after he performed a hairpin backward loop followed by a spinning barrel roll. She would later admit to herself that it was love at first sight. This was the beginning of a 15-year on-again off-again relationship where the two would often argue and go their separate ways for years at a time, only to get back together and begin the cycle anew. After the First Federation-Klingon War ended, Sakai left Starfleet for a life as an professional planetary surveyor and independent contractor.
USS Sagittarius[]
In 2268 Lieutenant Tyson was posted to the USS Sagittarius under the command of Captain Terrell and had a great career as back up helm officer, but he wanted to be apart of the command division for the position of first officer for a future ship Clark agrees and helps him with his command test and he passed with flying colors.
