India was a former British colony in Asia. It was noted that Khan Noonien Singh rose to power in India in the 1990s decade and cemented a power base that spanned from Asia to the Middle East.
In the mid-21st century, India, along with its traditional rival, Pakistan, was a member of the Eastern Coalition. Later on during the Third World War, India defected to the Western Alliance.
