Jade Kirk was a human female Starfleet officer during the 24th century. He was the the great-great grand-niece of the legendary James T. Kirk
History[]
Jade Kirk was born on Cestus III on 2350. She joined Starfleet Academy in 2368 and graduated top of her class in 2372. Like her forebear, her natural brilliance, astuteness in command, uncanny valor, and sense of adventure caused her to quickly rise through the ranks. She became a Captain by the age of 28 and was given command of a Saber-class escort.
Despite the small size of the ship under her command, and the non-frontier deployments she was assigned, Captain Kirk faces several of the most adventurous missions Starfleet had ever witnessed, leading to her receiving numerous commendations for such feats.
Despite the many similarities that she and her forebear had, she did not carry the rebellious streak that older Kirk possessed, which led both to clash every time they worked together.
Vanguard Command[]
As of 2385 and at the request of Rear Admiral James Kirk, Jade Kirk was assigned as Commanding Officer of the USS Rogue. She also had operational command of Task Force Rogue as concurrent Fleet Captain and Deputy Fleet Commander. Task Force Rogue was the main component of Vanguard Command's loose rapid response and special mission task force which comprised mostly of heavily modified and technologically upgraded starships, both old and new, the commanding officers of which directly report to Fleet Admiral Maximus Hunter.
Task Force Rogue
Kirk and the USS Rogue frequently joins forces with other parts of the Rapid Reaction Force in particular missions where there is a need for powerful starships to operate in multiple theaters simultaneously in attaining a single objective. She and her task force frequently work jointly with Captain Val Zaybor and the USS Victorious, distant kin Captain Hakeem Majors and the USS Moro, and Captain Cornelia Junius and the USS Eclipse in many of these missions. During these conditions, Kirk has tactical command over the other captains.
