Joan Robinson was Chief managing yeoman, IMACO Heavy Phase Gunner, and one of the most well regarded Imperial Starfleet officers in known history. As Master Chief of Alpha fleet overseen by NXT Enterprise-001 she led defensive ship boarding forces in the Battle of Sector 001 in 2160.
It was during her tenure aboard the Enterprise that helped secure some of their most important exploratory missions through both military and systems functional reporting management. And it was her duty both on and off the battlefield that earned the command of her own ship, one of the first Constitution Dreadnoughts commissioned, the NXT Bellerophon.
Biography[]
Surprisingly, while Joan's Imperial career is long and well-documented, there is little evidence of her early life. It is known that she was raised by her mother Gail, a single parent. Of the little known, she had a tenuous at best relationship with the belief that her mother had substance abuse issues.
Her father whose name was unknown left their household at an early age and after a short period in elementary left for Imperial Starfleet training at 12.
Imperial Service[]
Role on Enterprise 001[]
At the start of her role on the Type II Enterprise, outside of her military duties, acted as managing yeoman. Supervising and assisting the yeomen of other divisions and sections of ship routines and maintenance. She oversaw the requisition and organization of resource and crew reports and overall ship real-time status via direct word of mouth along the chain of command.
She also attended meetings with the command crew, conveying ship crew and systems reports and reminding them of their mission and moral obligation to external societies and crew.
Within her military duty, Joan's position was also kept within the classical term of the rank as she was a long-range phase weaponry expert and land-based operational heavy gunnery crew.
She also had the duty of managing and maintaining the overall care and distribution of the ship's armory and hand-held weapons stores and some of the ship engineering repair (spare part) supplies. Essentially, the assistant to the ship's Quartermaster and requisition officer for the general engineering and shuttlepool (equivalent of a 20th century military Motorpool) crew.
Career on Enterprise-000[]
Joan's first Starfleet posting was on one of the Empires first experimental long range exploratory cruisers the NXO Enterprise 1701-000 under the command of Christopher Pike. Joan's initial role there was to be the ships command supply requisition and distribution chain manager under the ship's Quartermaster.
Making sure ships supplies during the Enterprises initial mission of conveying Imperial diplomats from Mars to Earth and patrolling various Terran held territories to insure Terran militant power and proxies remained contained within their sovereign regions. Due to several later missions while encountering more hostile Terran and outer system alien ships. Joan's role was finally expanded to IMACO squad leader and security of Command crew on away missions.
However, her career took an historical turn as the Enterprise triple zero encounters a damaged futuristic ship near to the edge of near Mars space. The ship is under the name of USS Enterprise-C. Joan leads rescue parties and groups of medical assistants to aid the unusually dressed ship crew. Joan later leads engineering crews supervised by one of the few still able bodied crew members Richard Castillo to help examine and possibly repair the ship, even though most of their tools are outdated by a century.

Duty Uniform/Gear[]
Joan wore a prototype version of women's Phase-1 IMACO tactical armor and gear. Which consisted of low cut energy and kinetic weapon-resistant torso piece with attached ceremonial pauldrons and utility gauntlets (which acted similar to Tricorders), attached tabard or loincloth with Imperial ceremonial heraldry, utility tactical belt, and pouches, phaser holsters, and armored all-terrain service boots.
Due to its outward appearance, it can be considered mainly ceremonial, however, the armor, while minimal, can be useful and helpful in protecting against small-bladed hand-to-hand attacks and misaimed long-range weapons strikes. The main source of protection for the gear is a heavier modified version of a Life support belt which was miniaturized to a Holo-Emitter like Heavy particle shield generator attached to the side of the armors' torso section.
This shield offers protection against heavy weapons strikes for all the areas the body armor doesn't cover or fully protect, and provides protection in extreme non M-Class planetary environmental conditions.
Her personal weapons loadout consists of 2 modified multibarrel rotary Type-2 phaser pistols, a small Bandolier like belt of Photon grenades, decorated combat blade, and centrally a heavily modified Phaser bore for a heavy cannon and a Type-3 phaser long-range scoped rifle with attached underslung Photon grenade EM rail propelled launcher.
