Robert Timothy April was a Human male born in Coventry, England on Earth on October 14, 2194. He served in Starfleet during the 23rd century. He was notably the first commanding officer of the USS Enterprise in the late 2240s. Prior to the Enterprise, he commanded the USS Tiberius, and later rose to positions as a Starfleet commodore, and Federation ambassador.
One of the first planets he explored as commanding officer of the Enterprise eventually became the New Coventry colony he named after his home city.
