A shuttle planetside.
A shuttlecraft, sometimes shortened to shuttle, was a type of auxiliary craft for spacefaring civilizations. They were small transports, usually possessing only an impulse drive or limited warp capability. The size of shuttlecraft varied from the larger, longer-range, and more versatile types, such as runabouts, to the small, short-range types commonly known as shuttlepods.
