Sorok was a Vulcan male who was the lead monk of the Vulcan monastery on Vulcan during the 2360s.
In 2364, a Romulan named Dariv disguised himself as a Vulcan student named Cyrak and 7 years ago set up a Romulan listening station inside the monastery. Sorok, unaware of this still trusted him with setting up the statue of the Vulcan god.
That same year, a group of Andorians planted a listening device in the corner of the listening post, and monitored what was happening and set one of their spies to closely examine what was happening, later they contacted the USS Valentine to assist them.
Sorok did not consider Dariv was a Romulan and thought he was one of them, even refusing the Federation to scan Dariv's DNA. (TNA: "The Andorians")
