Star Corps, officially Confederation Star Corps, is the main space branch of the Confederation Corps. It is also the biggest branch by far.
History[]
United Earth Space Forces, Proxima Republic Defense Force Space Command and Vega Colonial Fleet combined into the Star Corps in 2160 following the formation of the Confederation of Earth.
In 2229 the Patrol and Scout Command was seperated from Star Corps as the Border Patrol Corps.
Structure[]
Star Corps Central Command is the senior leadership of the entire Star Corps. It is led by the High Marshal, who reports to the Commander-in-Chief of the Confederation Corps.
The Central Command consists of the leadership of the various divisions. Each division has dozens of sub-divisions that manage a specific aspect of that division. Sub-divisions can be further separated into smaller departments and/or offices.
Divisions[]
Intelligence[]
Star Corps Intelligence is the primary military intelligence agency for Star Corps. It is responsible for the analysis of information regarding alien powers, and sometimes launches their own reconnaissance missions.
Academy[]
Star Corps Academy provides recruitment and training of officers and specialist crew members for Star Corps. It is split into 7 schools for various specialisation.
Headquartered in Starbase 1 in orbit of Earth, the Academy operates hundreds of other campuses throughout Confederation space.
Military Institute[]
Star Corps Military Institute is responsible for the study of acquired alien knowledge, and the research of innovative technologies. They design much of the tactical assets used by starships, and the starships themselves.
Institute officers often work in cooperation with UESPA aboard starships.
Expeditionary Command[]
The Expeditionary Command manages activities outside of Confederation territory, expanding Humanity's interest into the frontier.
Security Command[]
The Security Command manages internal security within Star Corps and Confederation territory as a whole. Security officers enforce discipline aboard starships and stations, while sector fleets exert control over COE space.
Resource Command[]
Divided into 8 sub-divisions, the Resource Command obtains and distributes everything from personnel to payrolls to entire starbases across Star Corps.
It is the most populous among the divisions, running thousands of administrative offices, logistics fleets and working with contractors all across the Confederation.
Fighter Command[]
Star Corps' Fighter Command is a relatively new division, specialised in the operation of small fightercrafts. They usually work in tandem with other branches, such as reconnaissance for the Intelligence, light escort for the Resource Command's transports, or stationed aboard carriers.
Auxiliary Services[]
Star Corps Auxiliary Services provides non-combatant supports for the other divisions. Containing departments such as the Star Corps Medical, the Engineering Division and Department of Public Relations.

Star Corps uses a ranking system inherited from the UE Space Force.
