Early life[]
Steven Carlson was born on April 23rd, 2344 in Brooklyn, New York, on Earth. he is the brother of Ensign Kara Carlson and the son of Peter Carlson and his wife, Marcy. His father was overbearing and demanding. A failed medical student himself, he pushed young Steven into medicine. he wanted to be a pilot just like his sister, but acquiesced to his father's wishes.
Starfleet service career[]
Starfleet Medical Academy[]
Steven took premedical studies at the Academy, graduating in 2362. After graduation, he was accepted into medical school. When she graduated, he did so in the top ten percent of he class.
Starfleet Medical[]
Steven's first assignment out of med school was a resident at Starfleet Medical.
USS Caduceus[]
After he internship, he was assigned to the USS Caduceus, a medical ship.
USS Peterson[]
Following several years aboard the Caduceus, in 2370 it was decided that he was ready to serve as CMO of a starship, and he was reassigned to the USS Peterson. He generally avoids the bridge where possible, believing that as a doctor, his place is in Sickbay.
Starbase 375[]
In 2371, Lieutenant junior grade Steven Carlson is serving onboard the Federation Starbase 375 along the edge of the Bajoran sector as chief medical officer, and he was there during the Dominion War seeing a lot of wounded comrades and Klingons being rushed into the medical bay.
Then in 2374 when the Romulan Star Empire joins the war on the Federation side Carlson learned a lot about Romulan biology seeing a lot of them also being rushed into the medical bay as well and meeting new friends.
USS Enterprise-E[]
In 2381, Doctor Carlson was assigned to the USS Enterprise-E under the command of Captain John Branson as chief medical officer, and serves the ship and crew well.
