T'Lana (died in 2381) |
T'Shel was a Vulcan Starfleet officer in the 24th and 25th centuries. She was the chief medical officer of the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-F).
T'Shel was born on the stardate 9581.6 (2293) on the planet Vulcan. She studied medicine on her home planet. From 2324–2327 she studied at the Starfleet Academy (her fellow student was Jean-Luc Picard). By 2337, T'Shel had become a lieutenant, and by 2364, a commander. It is known that by 2387, T'Shel had risen to the rank of captain and commanded a medical starship during a Romulan-Reman rescue mission (then she met Ventar Tall).
After that, Captain T'Shel retired and lived on Vulcan. At the time, she seriously considered dabbling in traditional Vulcan medicine and undergoing Kolinahr, but her wanderlust prevented her from completely abandoning her emotions. In 2409, T'Shel returned to Starfleet duty and worked at Starbase 144 as chief medical officer.
In 2415, T'Shel relinquished her admiral's rank and position at the Starfleet Medical Center on Earth. Through her connections, T'Shel found out about the secret mission of the Andromeda Project and forced Admiral Tuvok to approve her as Chief Medical Officer of the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-F).
