According to ESTABLISHED STAR TREK CANON, there is no crime (or even poverty) on Earth, which would make a criminal investigative service (such as CSI, which I believe this is fashioned after) completely obsolete.
I'm not saying you can't make this if you want to, I'm just saying that its somewhat paradoxal... Bookworm1138 16:49, October 24, 2009 (UTC)
"There is no crime... on Earth". Really? That makes it paradoxical? The fact that Starfleet covers the entire Federation, the fact that this is a fanon (i.e. not canon), and (most importantly) the fact that we've actually seen crime within Starfleet and the Federation in ESTABLISHED STAR TREK CANON (sorry, but your snarky bold/all-caps was too funny to ignore) doesn't justify the existence of such an organization?
On another note, I'm going to edit the page to reflect what I had designed originally; I'll try to retain most of the added information, but I'm not too cool with the part where the page has been hijacked with the stub disclaimer still on the page.
