I checked out Memory-Alpha, and discovered that this goes somewhat against canon. There are many differences in the canon and fanon version of this ship. Could somebody please fix this so that it at least keeps all of the rules set in the official universe? :p
"The studio model for the Enterprise-J was built by Doug Drexler and called a Universe-class ship, about two miles in length. Drexler saw it "as a multi-generational vessel, that had large parks, entertainment zones, and entire universities on board. The ship is so large that turbolifts would be replaced with site to site transporters. [It] had one deflector, recognizably descended from the NX. I opted for spindly nacelle struts because I felt it suggested a technology beyond what we were familiar with. They are beyond transwarp. They can fold space, and they are exploring other galaxies besides the Milky Way."

- In this case, it could go both ways. Enterprise J was shown in a possible timeline. In the prime timeline, there might not even be a Federation or an Enterprise J or maybe the mission of the Enterprise J is totally different. Unless a new canon Star Trek production goes into Enterprise J's future causing this page to conflict with canon, the info can stay. —TrekkyStar (talk | blog | story) 23:37, May 29, 2010 (UTC)
Ok. :)--PiKaPi talk blog 22:45, May 31, 2010 (UTC)
I had an idea for the official one from the show for a while now and couldn't make one because of this. I hope you don't mind, but I am going to move this to USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-J) (PIO). :p --PiKaPi talk blog 23:55, June 1, 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, I thought that when Daniels showed Archer a "possible future" that the chance of it not happening was quite big - one decision can alter the future more than you can imagine. As it's fanon and set long after normal canon, I'll keep the canon there but use my own specs as I think I'm allowed to :) DaveSubspace Message 12:02, June 2, 2010 (UTC)
Whatever, I see that it was changed back. :(--PiKaPi talk blog 18:19, June 2, 2010 (UTC)
