Central Leaders:

John Frederick Paxton

Terra Prime was a terrorist organization on Earth during the 22nd century who advocated xenophobia and violence against non-humans in order to "preserve the purity of the human gene pool."

Before the Xindi attack in 2153 the movement had been losing supporters, but after the attack they began growing again; eventually reaching a point where they worried United Earth Prime Minister Nathan Samuels, a former member himself. Members of Terra Prime included Mercer, Susan Khouri, Daniel Greaves, and Josiah. In his late teens, Samuels's father died in a cargo ship accident. Nathan joined Terra Prime at age eighteen because he blamed the cargo ship's Denobulan pilot and felt anger towards all alien species. Samuels himself once belonged to the group, when he was eighteen years of age, though he later renounced his involvement with them.

In 2155, they were led by John Frederick Paxton, who would lead Terra Prime on a daring raid in which they took over Mars' Verteron Array and used it to threaten Earth by saying that if all non-Humans didn't leave the system immediately they would fire on Starfleet Command.

Fortunately, the crew of the Enterprise (NX-01) was able to defeat Terra Prime and redirect the verteron beam into the Pacific Ocean. With the establishment of the Coalition of Planets, and later the United Federation of Planets, Terra Prime's goal of an isolated, "Humans-only" Earth would never be realized.

Alternate universes

In one alternate universe, Terra Prime was successful in it's attack on Starfleet Command, leading to a period of isolationism on Earth that lasted into the mid-23rd century, where their symbol would continue to be a symbol of anti-alien feelings.
