Tesjha "Tess" Phohl (Imperial name Siritesjha sh'Phohlhi) was the first officer and tactical officer of the USS Bajor in 2409.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Tess Phohl was born in Andoria's comparatively mild equatorial climes in 2381.
Starfleet career[]
Tess Phohl graduated from Starfleet Academy in 2405 on tactical track and was assigned to the USS Khitomer as second shift projectile weapons officer.
The next year the Khitomer was disabled during the Borg attack on Vega Colony, and Lieutenant (JG) Kanril Eleya beamed over from the USS Kagoshima to help get the ship back underway. Upon learning that the Borg had killed the Kagoshima's entire command staff, leaving Kanril the seniormost officer afloat, the Khitomer's captain ordered Phohl to beam over and act as Acting Captain Kanril's temporary tactical officer. The two bonded during the fight and subsequent flight back to Earth Spacedock, and Fleet Admiral Jorel Quinn made her Kanril's permanent XO.
Personality[]
Phohl is a complex individual. During normal duty she is a consummate professional, observing all Starfleet military discipline. However, when speaking as Kanril's best friend rather than her first officer the two speak on a first-name basis and are very informal. She also very much enjoys a good fight.
Personal interests[]
Tess Phohl was an avid collector of exotic weapons, particularly long arms. She was noted as a crack shot with large squad support weapons.
Behind the scenes[]
Tess Phohl was originally a Federation tactical bridge officer in Star Trek Online. StarSword later used her, along with the rest of his Federation tactical toon's crew, in his story Bait and Switch.
