Thalev th'Lantar was an Androian Starfleet officer in the 25th century. From 2416, he served as Chief science officer and Second Officer on the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-F). During the crisis of 2417–2419, Thalev became First Officer under Interim Commanding Officer Logan Sunclair.
Biography[]
Thalev th'Lantar was born on Thalassa on stardate 57711.9 (2380). Trained at Starfleet Academy from 2397-2401. He had numerous assignments in deep space, and because of this, Thalev was duly recognized as one of Starfleet's most accomplished science officers. Thalev had a wealth of experience in command positions. From 2409 to 2414, he was First Officer and Science Officer for Captain Alex Kir on the USS Excalibur (NCC-94547).
In 2414-2416 Thalev retired from Starfleet and joined the Andorian Science Institute. However, after learning about the Andromeda Project, he returned to serve in Starfleet. In the middle of 2416, Commander Thalev received an order from Admiral Tuvok to be assigned as Science Officer on the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-F). It is known that Tuvok also recommended Thalev for the position of first officer, to which Ventar replied that he did not want to have «a too busy first officer».
Personality Profile[]
Thalev was a typical Androian — he had blue skin and white hair, and had a pair of antennae on the front of his head. His antennae could quite accurately express his mood and feelings, although it might not be visible on his face. He was tall and had a good physical build, which he maintained through training. Thalev knew how to keep under strict control his aggressive predisposition, which he had as an Andorian.
He had a disciplined mind and seemed cold and calm. He always followed the rules and adhered strictly to the charter, which made him stiff at times. As a scientist, Thalev is methodical. When he works in the laboratory, there is little to distract him until he achieves a result.
After a vacation period on Andoria, he decided to return to Starfleet simply because he had nowhere to go at the time.
He was proficient in traditional Andorian melee weapons and was a skilled marksman.
