Tolok was a Vulcan male in the 24th century. He possessed a certain control of telepathy which allowed him to help other Vulcans.
He served as the personal assistant for T'Soran in the 2360s. It became clear to him and others that T'Soran was losing emotional control over time due to Bendii Syndrome. Discreetly, he used his abilities to strengthen his mental discipline and conceal the effects.
In 2366, he accompanied T'Soran aboard the USS Valentine during the Bondal Conference. This mission was particularly stressful to T'Soran, and, seeing that his condition worsened beyond his abilities, Tolok was forced to consider alternatives. He innocently inquired of Paul Schmidt about Jeffery Johnson's ability to conduct the conference, explaining he was only being thorough. Schmidt later came back to him and confronted him about whether his loyalty to T'Soran or the Federation was more important. When T'Soran was later confronted by Johnson, T'Soran directly asked Tolok what he was doing, and learned the truth.
After the conference, Tolok continued to help T'Soran like he did before on the USS Surak on the way back to Vulcan. (TNA: "The Vulcan With Emotions")
