Biography[]
Early life[]
Tyler Mason was born in 2341 on February 3th in San Diego, Califorina on Earth. His mother was Admiral Mary Mason and Tyler moved to Starbase 39-Sierra along the Romulan Neutral Zone during peace time with the Romulan Star Empire while Mary was stationed on the Klingon outpost Narendra III. While on a mission to keep the treaty enforced, the outpost suddenly came under attack by four Romulan warbirds, while on the outpost, his mother was wounded during a Romulan attack that it was severe but the starbase and the personal survived the assault.
Starfleet career[]
Starfleet Academy[]
In 2360, Tyler entered Starfleet Academy at the age of 19 and passed all his classes with flying colors and met his future shipmate Akolo Tare in one of his classes, the pair had a one night stand after the Academy graduation ceremony in 2364 and the pair were on separate assignments in the Federation.
USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-E)[]
In 2372-2375, Lieutenant Commander Tyler Mason was posted aboard the USS Enterprise-E under the command of Captain William T. Riker after the promotion of Captain Jean-Luc Picard to the rank of Commodore and he was posted as the chief of security and had a great service record for the flagship under Riker's command.
USS Sovereign (NCC-73811)[]
In 2375 after the Dominion War was over Commander Tyler Mason was asked to be posted aboard the USS Sovereign under the command of Captain Brianna Martin, at first he wasn't to keen about a female commanding officer as he stated when they first met while the Sovereign was in drydock. Captain I have no problems following your orders but I was hoping that it would be a male taking command of the ship.
