The USS Reliant (NCC-1864) was a Federation Miranda-class starship active in the 23rd century. She had an illustrious career that came to an unfortunate end in 2285, when the vessel was hijacked by a group of augments led by Khan Noonien Singh. Khan took the Reliant on a brief yet destructive joyride, culminating with her obliteration at the Battle of the Mutara Nebula.
