The USS Victorious (NCC-26555-A) is a Galaxy-class Battleship in service with Starfleet and the Federation during the late 24th century and was the second ship to bear the name.

The Victorious-A was launched from the Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards in 2363, and was commissioned in 2364. It succeeded the Ambassador-class Heavy Cruiser USS Victorious, which was decommissioned on the same year.

The vessel was placed under the old commanding officer of the older Victorious, then Rear Admiral Maximus Hunter.

It also succeeded the old Victorious as the flagship of Task Force Victorious, which was expanded from seven starships to twelve.

The Victorious-A served as flagship of the task force for five years with distinction, earning six unit citations in the process, until the unit's disbandment in 2369.

By 2385, the Victorious-A was refitted and assigned as one of the Battle cruisers of the First Fleet.
