Vershina Station (Starbase 247), a Mattson-class Federation starbase, served as the headquarters of Ktarn Fleet in the early 25th Century. Located in the Aldebaran Sector, the starbase was on the front lines of the conflict between the United Federation of Planets and the Klingon Empire that evolved into the Undine War. The station continued to serve as central command for Ktarn Fleet through the Iconian Wars.
