Vulcan is a class M planet, homeworld to the Vulcan species. It is also one of the founding members of the Federation.
Omega universe[]
In 2157, a civil war broke out on the planet between a radical group known as the Neo-Surakites and the Vulcan government. The resulting battles called upon the old weapons, including a Vulcan variant of the Atom Bomb. The resulting fallouts destroyed Vulcan. However, over 400,000 Vulcans managed to escape before complete destruction.
